Nexus SEO Inspector helps users review on-page SEO elements in the webpage they choose to inspect. This policy explains what information the extension processes and how it is handled.

Information processed

When you run an audit, the extension processes information from the active webpage, including its URL and title, metadata, headings, links, image URLs and alt text, and structured data. It also processes visible page text temporarily to calculate a word count.

If you save an audit, its report, including the page URL and title, is stored locally in your browser’s extension storage. You can save up to three reports for comparison. The extension also stores your selected language and feature preferences locally.

Optional score badge

The score badge is off by default. If you enable it, Chrome asks you to grant optional access to websites. The extension then analyzes the active tab after navigation or when you switch tabs so it can display that page’s score on the extension icon. You can turn off the feature and revoke its access in the extension.

Exporting reports

If you choose Export, the extension downloads the current audit report as a JSON file to your device.

How information is used and shared

The extension uses the information it processes only to audit the selected webpage, show its score, save reports for comparison, and provide the features described above. It does not send page content, URLs, reports, scores, or browsing history to Nexus or other third parties. The extension does not sell this information or use it for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

Saved reports remain in the browser’s local extension storage until you remove them in the extension or uninstall the extension. You can also replace a saved report by saving a new audit of the same page.

External links

The extension may link to the Nexus website or PayPal. Those websites are operated separately and have their own privacy policies. Information you provide directly to those websites is handled under their respective policies.
